Counseling

Clear Creek Community Church Counseling Center offers professional counseling services to children, adolescents, individuals and families. Our counselors are:

  • Debra Thompson | Registered Nurse, Licensed Professional Counselor
  • Tara Warner | Licensed Professional Counselor, Chemical Dependency Counselor

Debra holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Arts in Behavioral Sciences. She has been licensed as a professional counselor since 1983. As a registered nurse, she specialized in pediatric and psychiatric nursing and has worked in several hospitals as well as inpatient psychiatric treatment centers. As a counselor, she specializes in working with children, adults, and families coping with mental health issues and other life controlling problems. She does not practice marriage counseling. Debra began practicing counseling at Clear Creek Community Church in 2011. 

Tara holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Counseling. She is dual licensed as a Professional Counselor and a Chemical Dependency Counselor. Her experience includes working with adolescents, adults and couples with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, anger, substance abuse, and mood and personality disorders. She specializes in couples and marriage counseling. Tara began practicing counseling at Clear Creek Community Church in 2016.


CCCC’s approach to counseling is Christ-centered and biblically-based. Our counselors assist clients in learning healthy boundaries, coping skills, parenting skills, and healthy self-care in order to improve their quality of life and become more fully devoted followers of Christ.

APPOINTMENTS & FEES
Our counselors provide service to members and attenders of Clear Creek Community Church as well as nonmembers. The fee per counseling session is $95 unless the client serves in a ministry area or is a member of a small group at CCCC, then the fee is $65. Insurance is not accepted.  

The Counseling Center is open Monday through Friday, 10:00am to 6:00pm; last client appointment starts at 5:00pm.
